Only a couple of days to go before we start 2025 with a swim. Below is the planned timing of events for the Current Cruiser on New Years Day, as well as some important notes;
- Tides are unpredictable at the moment, events may move forwards 15 minutes – please arrive early
- Allow enough time to walk from the finish line (beach car park) to your event start
- Pre-race briefs are 30 minutes before each event
- The clubhouse bar pack collection/registration will close at 9:30am sharp so we can get to the Inlet and set up
- The race is capped at 300 entrants, t-shirts are preferentially allocated to early-registrations
- Car parking is available on Shallow Inlet for a small fee, please note that with an incoming tide the car park will be getting smaller, please park accordingly and keep an eye on your car
- When walking to the start line please keep close to the shore and away from the dunes, hooded-plovers are currently nesting and any disturbance is harmful
