Last year we had a few issues with our timing system. To put a fine point on it, the Sandy Point summer heat melted our sensors and a bunch of times were mis-recorded.
In the spirit of the event, everyone was very good about it and we thank the community for that understanding. However, one of our major goals for this years event was to get a more robust timing system in place that can cope with the searing heat of a Shallow Inlet New Years Day.
