Happy Current Cruiser Eve everyone.
Here is the schedule for Monday’s WBSLSC Current Cruiser, apologies for the delay but I wanted to eyeball the tide closer to the event due to the variation of Shallow Inlet times from reported Waratah Bay times. Below is the schedule we will work to (with some flexibility).
Pack collection and late registrations will be at the front of the clubhouse on the morning of new years day from 9:15am to 10:45am, then at Shallow Inlet before the event which will commence around the middle of the day – keep an eye on our Facebook Page for final times once we get closer.
Since we are using the incoming tide, please be mindful of the reducing car park area and park near the dunes to avoid surprises. The weather forecast still looks great and we will try to be done before any wind picks up in the afternoon. T shirts arrived this afternoon and they look awesome.
Join us at the clubhouse after the swim for presentations and enjoy our new extended deck, and stick around for Melbourne’s Dynasty Band performing popular covers (and a few originals) from 6:00pm on the deck.
A reminder that as well as the regular 500m and 1500m shoreline current swims, we have a new WBSLSC life saver monitored Family Float event where you bring a floatation device and float for 500m with the current in a pack.
